Give These Spinach Recipes A Try!

By

Spinach is a great green vegetable, very healthy and with more protein than most other veggies, helping its consumers build up muscle (like a certain well-known cartoon character). This is a great vegetable that shouldn't be overlooked in your recipes! The great thing about spinach is you can add it to almost anything, or mix or blend it in. It can be an additive to stuffing, or a side dish, or you could top it with melted cheese. It's particularly good for vegetarians, as it can provide nutritional boosts that are hard to get elsewhere so easily. Here we're going to look at a couple of great recipes involving spinach, as tasty as they are full of nutrients.
Navarra Asparagus With Salmon And Spinach Cream Recipe

8 thick pieces of Navarra asparagus
10 oz of smoked salmon
1 lb of spinach
1 tbsp of peppercorns
Cream and salt
To prepare this quick and simple meal, roll the asparagus into slices of smoked salmon. Cook the clean spinach in a pan with liquid cream and the pepper. Then crush it in a blender to make a smooth paste, and poor over the salmon and asparagus rolls. Serve up and enjoy!
Spinach And Feta Cheese Quiche Recipe
Ingredients
Crust:
1 1/4 cups of flour
6 tbsp of cold butter
2 tbsp of cold butter
3 tbsp of cold water
Filling:
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 sliced green chili pepper
4 cup of washed and dry spinach
4 eggs
2/3 cup of cream or milk
2/3 cup of shredded feta cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Before beginning, preheat the oven to 410 degrees Fahrenheit. Now, to make the crust, place the butter, flour and a little salt into a food processor and mix until it takes on a sandy texture. Add three tablespoons of water and mix it in with a fork. Keep adding water to make the dough ready. Then form it with your hands at the bottom of a 9 inch pie mould, or in 4 individual moulds. Bake it for 7 minutes.
For the filling, fry the pepper and spinach in a pan with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Let it cook off, then add the eggs, cream and cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper while mixing. Pour the filling into the moulds, and then bake until cooked, giving you a firm and delicious meal.
